This gnarly old tree in the You Yangs Forest Park, was quite striking in full colour, but seemed to invite photography in black and white. I used a Sepia Tone effect with a little grain reduction in Silver Efex Pro, to convert the original colour image to this photo.

This photograph was taken with an Olympus Pen EP-3, using an Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f4-5.6 lens set at 9mm (18 mm equivalent in 35mm language!), with f14 stop at ISO 200.
